Infant / Baby (3-12 Months)

Now that your little angel is out of the newborn days, you may find your infant baby is settling into a more predictable sleep routine and perhaps feeding less through the night (or not. And that's normal too). With infanthood, growth and cognitive leaps can present new sleep considerations (just when you thought you had it figured out right!). As your baby learns to roll over, it is no longer safe for them to be swaddled or in a bassinet. You need to transition their baby pyjamas to a safe, arms-out sleeping bag and place baby in a cot to provide use of their arms in lifting and shifting their head to the side for unobstructed breathing whilst lying on their tummy. You may also find your infant’s sleep interrupted by teething, being more responsive to changing light and noise stimulus during nap time, and big milestones such as sitting up, crawling, or developing separation anxiety. As you navigate these phases, providing a safe, consistent sleep environment and TOG-rated baby sleepwear will go a long way to faster settling and gentle soothing.
