MaterialsThe ellska Skye Cot is expertly engineered from FSC-Certified Beechwood timber with a clear non-toxic lacquer for protection. It has been rigorously tested and approved for safety and compliance in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the USA.
Care InstructionsWipe clean with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a gentle soap mixed with warm water. Do not use harsh cleaning products, chemicals or hard bristle brushes to clean as these may cause damage to the natural wood surface or top coating protector. Vacuum regulary to remove any dirt and dust that may have settled.
Store in original box if possible, otherwise ensure all core parts are kept together with light padding. We suggest wrapping in an old sheet or doona/duvet cover or plastic outer to protect from moisture and dust. Ensure small parts are kept together for ease of future assembly.

Care Instructions
Washing the Outer Cover
- Unzip and remove from the mattress core
- Zip closed before washing
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
- Wash separately
- Air dry or tumble dry thoroughly on low
- Do not bleach
Cleaning the Inner Cover (Encasement)
Clean only when necessary
- Remove carefully from mattress core
- Hand wash or spot clean using cool water
- Air dry or tumble dry thoroughly on low
- Do not bleach
Cleaning the Core
For deeper cleaning or larger messes, the core can be washed as needed
- Rinse in the shower using cool water (mild soap if required)
- Alternatively rinse outdoors with a hose
- Gently shake out excess water
- Stand upright to dry
- Allow to dry in a well-ventilated area
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Do not use heat or artificial drying methods
